Anti-Fascist Struggle Day 2026 in Croatia

Croatia’s calendar lists Dan antifašističke borbe, or Anti-Fascist Struggle Day, on June 22, 2026, as a public holiday. The supplied country-specific context says the date commemorates the formation of the First Sisak Partisan Detachment on June 22, 1941, and the broader anti-fascist resistance in wartime Croatia. It also notes that the public holiday was introduced by the Croatian Parliament in 1991. The observance is therefore tied to World War II history and Croatia’s anti-fascist struggle.
