Assumption Day 2027 in Croatia

Croatia’s calendar lists Velika Gospa, or Assumption Day, on 15 August 2027 as a public holiday. In the supplied context, the Assumption is a Catholic belief that Mary was taken body and soul into heaven at the end of her earthly life; the feast is celebrated on this date. The same context notes the related Eastern Christian observance of the Dormition. These details explain the religious background but do not describe specifically Croatian practices or independently establish the holiday’s legal scope in the country.
