Mariä Himmelfahrt (Assumption Day) is listed for Bavaria on Saturday, 15 August 2026. The supplied context describes the Catholic dogma that Mary, at the end of her earthly life, was taken body and soul into heaven, and identifies 15 August as the feast date. The Bavarian calendar record does not specify the exact local extent of public-holiday status within the state. The entry should therefore be read as a Bavaria listing, with municipal coverage requiring confirmation from an official regional source.
