Easter Sunday 2026 in Germany

Brandenburg’s calendar lists Ostersonntag (Easter Sunday) as a public holiday on Sunday, 5 April 2026. This is a regional entry and does not establish the same public-holiday classification across Germany. The attached context source concerns Easter Monday, the day after Easter Sunday, rather than the holiday listed here. It therefore cannot support additional detail about Easter Sunday’s meaning or observance. This entry is limited to the date, name, and regional classification shown in the calendar.
