Reformation Day 2026 in Germany

Reformationstag is listed as a public holiday in Hamburg on Saturday, 31 October 2026. The supplied context describes Reformation Day as a Protestant Christian holiday marking the onset of the Reformation. It links the date with Martin Luther’s 1517 Ninety-five Theses, while distinguishing the documented sending of the work from the less certain story that he nailed it to a church door. This calendar entry is for Hamburg alone. The context specifically notes that Reformation Day is recognized in some German states, not uniformly throughout the country.
