Reformation Day 2026 in Germany

Reformationstag is listed as a public holiday in Thuringia on Saturday, 31 October 2026. The supplied context describes Reformation Day as a Protestant Christian observance commemorating the onset of the Reformation. It notes the traditional connection between the date and Martin Luther’s Ninety-five Theses, while making clear that the familiar story of their being nailed to a church door is disputed.
