  1. Sun, 03 Oct 2027Day of German Unity

Tag der Deutschen Einheit, or German Unity Day, is Germany's national day and is observed on 3 October. The supplied context says it commemorates reunification in 1990, when the German Democratic Republic joined the Federal Republic of Germany. It also explains why 3 October was selected instead of 9 November, a date associated with other significant and painful events in German history. The calendar lists the holiday on 3 October 2027 without a regional limitation.
