October Holiday 2026 in Ireland

The October Holiday, Lá Saoire i mí Dheireadh Fómhair, is listed for 26 October 2026. The supplied context says that in Ireland it falls on the last Monday of October and was introduced in 1977. It also notes a usual, but not universal, relationship to the change from Irish Standard Time to Irish Winter Time; that timing should not be treated as a defining feature of the holiday. The calendar marks the date Public but does not specify local closures or service arrangements.
