May Day 2027 in Ireland

The supplied Ireland calendar lists May Day as a public holiday on 3 May 2027. The accompanying background describes a wider European seasonal festival traditionally associated with 1 May, including related Gaelic Beltane traditions, and distinguishes that festival from International Workers’ Day. It does not establish that the Irish public holiday date is itself observed as the ancient festival. The calendar date and the festival’s traditional date should therefore be understood as separate pieces of information.
