Europe Day 2026 in Luxembourg

The supplied Luxembourg calendar lists Europatag (Europe Day) as a public holiday on 9 May 2026. The accompanying context distinguishes the European Union’s 9 May Europe Day from the Council of Europe’s observance on 5 May. It links the EU date to the 1950 Schuman Declaration, which proposed the European Coal and Steel Community. This provides useful context for the calendar entry, but the supplied material does not describe Luxembourg-specific events or how the day is observed locally.
