Republic Day 2027 in Malta

Republic Day falls on 2027-12-13 in the Malta public holiday calendar.

  1. Mon, 13 Dec 2027Republic Day

The supplied Malta calendar lists Republic Day on 13 December 2027 and marks it PUBLIC. The supplied context says the holiday commemorates the creation of the Republic of Malta in 1974, when the role of Elizabeth II as Queen of Malta ended and Sir Anthony Mamo became the first President. It adds that British troops left Malta later, on 31 March 1979. This distinguishes the republic milestone from that later departure; the context does not detail present-day commemorations.
