Europe Day 2026 in Moldova

The supplied Moldovan calendar lists Europe Day on 9 May as a public holiday. The accompanying reference distinguishes the European Union’s 9 May observance from the Council of Europe’s 5 May observance, and associates the EU date with the 1950 Schuman Declaration and the idea of peace and unity in Europe. This provides European context for the date, but does not describe Moldova’s own events or explain its legal arrangements. The calendar is the evidence for its listing in Moldova.
