Victory Day 2026 in Moldova

Moldova’s supplied calendar lists Victory Day on 9 May as public. Its local name also refers to commemorating heroes who fell for the homeland’s independence. The accompanying reference describes Victory Day broadly as a name used for observances marking victory in war or liberation from occupation, including in connection with the Second World War. That general explanation does not identify a particular Moldovan historical account or local ceremony. The calendar’s name and date support the entry, but further national context is not supplied.
