Extremadura's calendar listing recognizes Jueves Santo as a public holiday on 2 April 2026. The supplied context describes Maundy Thursday as a Holy Week feast commemorating the Last Supper and washing of the feet. The listing applies to Extremadura and does not establish public-holiday status throughout Spain. The sources do not specify regional customs or workplace rules, so an official Extremadura holiday calendar is the appropriate lead for confirming local legal coverage.
