Christmas Eve 2026 in Vatican City

Vatican City's supplied calendar lists Christmas Eve, locally Vigilia di Natale, as public on 24 December. The accompanying context describes Christmas Eve as the day or evening before Christmas and notes that Christian Christmas observances have long begun on that evening in Western traditions. These details provide general context, not evidence of a specific Vatican City custom. The calendar supports the date and public classification; it does not explain their legal basis or establish the extent of any closures.
