Maundy Thursday 2027 in Vatican City

Maundy Thursday, called Giovedì santo in the supplied calendar, falls on 25 March 2027 and is listed as a Vatican public holiday. The supplied context describes it as part of Holy Week and the beginning of the Paschal Triduum, commemorating Jesus’ Last Supper with the apostles and the washing of feet. Those religious meanings explain the observance, but the calendar and context do not establish which State or Church services change their hours. The listing supports the holiday’s inclusion, not a claim of universal closure.
